USpireND is seeking a compassionate and experienced Early Childhood Program Coordinator to join our Healthy Families ND Program in Fargo, ND.

In this leadership role, you'll support and supervise a team of Family Support Specialists while helping ensure children and families receive high-quality, relationship-based services. You'll provide reflective supervision, coach staff, build community partnerships, and help create positive outcomes for families across Cass, Ransom, Richland, and Sargent counties.

What You'll Do

  • Provide leadership and oversight for the Healthy Families ND Program within your service area.
  • Supervise, coach, and support Family Support Specialists through reflective supervision and ongoing professional development.
  • Guide staff in delivering high-quality, family-centered services while supporting them through challenging situations.
  • Foster a positive team culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners and represent USpireND within the communities served.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Healthy Families ND to implement program improvements and shared initiatives.
  • Support culturally diverse families using strength-based and relationship-focused practices.
  • Monitor program quality, documentation, and compliance with Healthy Families America standards.
  • Provide direct home visiting services as needed to support staffing and program operations.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and mentoring new staff.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Education, Child Development, Human Services, or a related field, or at least 3 years of experience working with children and families or equivalent Healthy Families America experience.
  • Previous supervisory, coaching, or leadership experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of infant and child development, parent-child attachment, and family-centered practices.
  • Experience working with culturally diverse families and staff with humility and respect.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Commitment to reflective supervision and continuous professional growth.
  • Knowledge of child abuse prevention, family support services, and community resources is preferred.
  • Required: Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.

Physical Demands

  • Up to 20% travel, primarily within the service area.
  • Work is performed in office settings, community locations, and family homes.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, speak, and hear.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Work may involve exposure to environments where there is some risk to personal safety or health while serving families in the community.
